Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is an "Internet-standard protocol for managing devices on IP networks.

RouterOS supports SNMP v1,2 and 3. SNMP write is also supported. You can download the latest MikroTik RouterOS MIB file.

To enable SNMP in RouterOS:

       engine-id:
       trap-community: (unknown)
       trap-version: 1
[admin@MikroTik] /snmp> set enabled yes
